  1. I know the title seems a little strange for one that sells tea!  But I wanted to share how people can have an impact on you and your business..

I have never been an exhibitor at a craft fair or anything like that, so I was just a little nervous, thinking, what will people think of my stall, will people like loose leaf tea, will they like the packaging, what will they think of me... so many judgmental thoughts went through my mind.  So here I am, with my daughter at my first fair, well before I have even finished setting up a lady called Queenie came over to me and said to me 'wow your stall looks amazing' and she was my first sale of the day with some Fruit & Blossom Rooibos Tea, and even more amazing she was going to use the tea for tea leaf reading!

My point of this story, is that one lady in one moment made all my nerves go in one sentence, her kindness and conversation to me made me feel positive for the day.  Then I had the pleasure of a lady called Jane who had a stall next to mine, she had never used sum up before so before we even exchanged names, I was helping her load sum up on her phone so that she was ready for the show.  We chatted and laughed throughout the whole day, so because of these two people and their genuine act of just being good people they made my first craft show a great day.

My next fair was a school fair, WOW, what lovely people again, everyone helping get set up, it felt like a community, no judgements, just good people!  Again, I was nervous as this was my first outside fair and had more on display... one comment I received was "wow if there was an award for the best stand you would win without a doubt"!  I mean I was beaming from ear to ear!  Then it just seemed that everyone was complementing me on the stand and saying how beautiful it looked and the products were brilliant.  We sold so much tea, people were loving the idea of trying natural!

I met some wonderful people across these two fairs that just made me feel like what I am doing is all worth it... just a few positive words from people can make such a difference to someone...

  2. Its been a few weeks since I last updated my blog.

Today seemed like a good day to update, as I have been testing and tasting some new blends to launch for the summer (and winter)!  I know, I hear the sigh from you, but I want to make sure that I have some really warming teas ready for that colder season..

Anyway, back to the beautiful warmer weather, now how does a Lemon & Lime tea sound to you?  I can confirm that it went done well at my tea tasting party!

    Have a great week!

  3. Well here we are...... on the other side of the launch day and my what a day it was!!!

When I first started this journey  I was looking at launching in 2020, well as you are all aware that went out of the window due to the ideas flowing and everything fitting in to place faster that I could have imagined!

Lets jump to Saturday 4th May 2019 and there I was at Forest Song, (the first centre to have our items on sale) at 12:00noon and the madness ensued!! We were there ready, tea out and ready for our lovely customers to smell and sample, cake, raffle prizes and gift boxes to name a few of he amazing hings we had in store for our new friends.

I didn't know what to expect and I was very nicely surprised at the amount of people I had somehow reached, I was aware we had a few followers already but this was intense!

Before I knew it, it was 04:00pm and the launch had finished, what with hampers ordered, raffle prizes allocated and tonnes of tea sold I felt it was time to put my feet up and have a cuppa too!

  4. Wow... just under two weeks to go until our launch day event! You can read more about it in our previous blog post or checking out the event page!

At the end of last week we had our final tea box packaging arrive - after months of tweaking and changing things - they are finally here.

It's all becoming very real now! How exciting.

Meanwhile we are busy beavering away on the website, adding in the Online Shop (which should be up shortly) and other pages.

Keep checking back for more updates...

  5. As I write these words of how a new journey is beginning, I have to admit I never thought that we would be here so soon!  Enchanted Forest Tea was born from a simple conversation. I was talking about how much I felt like my life needed something different, I was already on a new spiritual journey and I guess this awakened within me a want and need to do something else. I was asked “Ok, if you could do any job right now what would it be” without hesitation I answered “I would love to own a tea room and make my own teas”.

That night I went home and actually thought about what do I really want to do, I searched deep and thought long and hard and I still came to the same answer, I wanted to make herbal teas!

I did have a 2 year plan of starting off small with just 5 or so tea blends, then in a year I could add in hampers, events, zen hens… well that 2 year plan is already out of the window as here we are in April 2019 and we are already doing these things, with 13 blends of tea already, only 5 months after I first spoke about it all!

    So, let the journey begin…
